Default head studs

was up who would like a head stud that would be better then arp, aebs is a good stud i use them and also am product sponsor by ben and paulus, but the stud i am talking about is made by A-1 technologies and they are the makers of the aebs stud and also for nascar and top fuel nhra, the next material in line is called H-11 which would be a stud that you could use over again and you would have your total torque spec and would only be using 80% of the stud strengh. the next material is called MP (multiphase) which would be an overkill for the honda block. they will only make it for me if i order 10 set's.

i could not tell you what team but they also make for CART and IRL they have also team up with LISI AEROSPACE one of the leading company's in aerospace. when i spoke with the main tech he also said that one of the teams that used H-11 was doug kalitta and warren johnson. the H-11 material is more then enough for a honda block they know about the threads in the honda block and the clamp force would not pull the threads, but he assured me that it would be hard to lift the head those of us with high hp.

we always used to run 1/2 studs in our motors when I worked for Venom. the is plenty of room to do it. At least we never had a problem

with these studs there is no need for 1/2 in. they will be same dia. as the aebs stud and will work better then 1/2 in.

They also supply GM with these studs on the Ecotech. I just switched to
them for my Mopar.

On mine the studs are 11mm, I think the same as Honda use's. The 11mm's have the same tensile strangh as a normal 1/2" stud, but fit w/o machineing the head and the block. VERY pricey though!!
