i got one to try to help trans breakage. it didnt help. smallest orofice, and still broke 4th gears on the shift.

not saying that there wasnt another issue. but that didnt make it any better.

if you use it, use the largest orifice they include with it. we tried the middle sized one and in between shifts, the clutch was slipping way too much. we put the larger one back in and didnt slip. you can see it in the logs. this was with a tilton twin disc cerametallic.

it all depends what gearset youre running i think. if you are running a dogbox, i dont think its needed.

Jan we used and killed the clutch, took it out then first hit without it with new clutch we killed ring pinion.. would prefer use up the clutch a bit more VS breaking the tranny

Every clutch is different. Telling this guy to run a specific restrictor without knowing what clutch or power he is putting down is just retarded.

when we get this trans back togheter we will put it back on and start testing different size pills and log, will only launch and log then let off to try and reduce wear on clutch.

we have 3 cars between us and we run one on each, the biggest orifice usually works best...it def softens the blow on the driveline.

Yes, they work, and yes, some of the fastest guys in the class use them with their Tilton carbon carbon clutches.
