what was your 60' & your trap speed? track elevation? how hot was it? how heavy are those 17's? with I/H/E I think you have about a second to shave off that in ideal condtions.

it's better when you post your time slip, if you don't have a scanner then just type it up. by doing this, we can help you by letting you know how to improve your times. the most critical part that determines your time is your 60'.

this was my first run
r/t-0.99
i1-2.530
i2-6.705
i3-10.088
mph-73.137 (missed fourth gear?)
et-15.499
i launched at 4000 rpm and experience alot of wheel hop, i ran 15.5 three times (should of done bracket racing j/k) i missed 4th gear two of the three runs i made, not sure if i pass the 1/4 mark or not tho, but could that be the problem?

your 60 foots are whats killing you. normally a 10flat in the 1/8th equates to about a 15.6 or so. get that 60 foot down to a 2.2 or 2.3 and dont miss 4th

yes work on your reaction time too
i have a non-vtec and i usually run a low 2.4 60 ft so you
should be able to get under that

73mph? Are you sure you missed 4th gear or shifted in reverse? Well I ran 14.8@92mph in a bone stock VTEC so atleast you can look forward to something. Gett your 60's down to a 2.0-2.1 and you will get high 14 no prob.
