Default first time at the track

hi guys , yesterday was my first time to the track with my new setup and slicks, here are my 3 time trials,

run#1
reaction-.454
60 ft- 2.404
1/8 et-8.565
1/8 mph-92.79
1/4 et-12.789
1/4 mph- 116.00

60 ft- 2.127

1/8 mph- 93.53
1/4 et- 12.481

my first run sucked i bogged the **** out of the car and double clutch it, my slicks are m/t et drags 22x8x15 with 10 psi cold, i would just like to know what i could do to better my times and hit a high 11, any help would be great thanks

looks like u kept improving ur times. I think u just need some more practice. I'll be running slicks for the first time, hopefully by the middle of august so i can't help u out with how to launch quite yet.

i was going faster each time it just suck i only got 3 runs at the track i am going to a local 1/8 mile on saturday to improve on my launch's

you on stock axles? What are you launching at?

stock axels and launched at like 6200 trying to slip the clutch, man launching on these slicks is tricky

your 60fts suck for slicks... dont worry i practiced for months before i got lanch and 1st gear down... rev it to 7000... at the third yellow dump the clutch and feather out the gas till you feel the slicks grab... feathering it out is harder than the actual launch... i would get bigger slicks though... i try that size with stock gsr turbo and at 7psi the slicks would spin till 3rd gear... 24.5*8*13 work nice for me...

iam going to go to a local 1/8 mile this weekend to work on the launch, i know i can do better it will just take time
