For the original poster...

Save your money and buy the Hondata. For an all-motor car its all you'll probably ever need. There are plenty of guys running 10 second ETs on the Hondata all-motor, including Erick Aguilar.

If you were a serious racer running turbo, I'd suggest something else, but you're not, so I won't. :-)

The Hondata is simple to tune, has good daily drivability and they don't give you much rope to hang yourself with. Something like the EMS has lots more capability, but setting up all the variables for daily driving can be time consuming and frustrating if you don't know what you're doing.

p.s. - the Zdyne is a nice system as well if you want to stick with OBD0. Same basic concept as the Hondata, but without quite as much functionality. I bought one of the first ones out back in 1999 for my CRX and its worked wonderfully with no problems.

The Zdyne doesn't offer some of the little things that Hondata does, but they're mainly related to boost or nitrous. Hondata also offers superior datalogging capability and, because they're a larger, more successful company, they offer much better support and ongoing development.
