Seems like whatever you're referencing for the pinout is wrong.

Send me an email, I'll get you a correct pinout to go off of, and a guide we include with our DIY Race-Spec kits.

Get a obd2a or b harness and it will have everything in the plugs that go right to ecu. We used a obd2 in crx and only had to add power and ground wires to send power to ecu and it worked perfect.
What car you putting it in?

Its an eg but shouldn't matter what car ... I'm only running a few sensors and a few switches inside the car. I don't need an entire harness, I'm trying to get rid of all the extra wiring that I don't need that are in the stock harnesses. I have a stock b series harness that I plan on using and just taking ALL the non used wires and plugs out. I really just need to know what can't go and where I need power and grounds for the Ecu to work properly

this is the easy way... the harness doesnt go to both sides of the firewall like obd1... its easier to repin the ecu end for obd1 than it is to build an entire harness like i think you are trying to do... the distributor plugs will be different, but the pins are the same, so you just have to change the plastic part of the plug to obd1... weed out all of the wires you dont need... this is how i did my ek...
