Default Converting from 12v to 16v?

I want to run my fuel pump at 16v for the added flow. Is there a simple way to run just the pump at a higher voltage, or does everything have to be run at 16v?

What all is needed to convert from 12v to 16v?

At 75 psi the sx pump flows nearly doable what it does at 12v.

So I looked around at Summitracing and it looks like I'd need these two things:

16v volt battery
New Castle Battery Voltage Step-Up Box

Is this a good start?

I did some more searching and found the MSD boost a pump. Looks like a really good alternative to me.

Fuel Pump Booster
Adding a turbo or supercharger to your engine is a great way to improve the power of your car. But you have to remember that when more air is being pushed into the engine, the need for additional fuel raises proportionally. Meeting these new fuel demands could mean larger injectors or ECU programming, both which can be pricey. This new Fuel Pump Booster is the economical (and easy) answer for your engine’s new fuel demands.
The Booster will supply the electric fuel pump with increased voltage in relation to the manifold boost pressure. As boost pressure increases in the manifold, the MSD Booster will increase the voltage to the electric fuel pump. The amount of voltage is adjustable with a potentiometer from a range of an additional 1.5 volts to a maximum output of 22 volts over a range of 5 – 30 psia.

wait, you can make a voltage multiplier wtih 2 resistors and some wire.

go to http://www.voltagemultipliers.....html
and learn more. Basically you can up the voltage, and still run 12v with the rest of the car.

here is the turbo start part# for 16v step down resistor box.
But i believe turbstart is out of business....there is a buss about "The V" some new 16volt battery i believe

Product Number: EL-TS16VRES

$64.90
