Has anyone else ran into this issue, i would like lower the car more but untill i figure out a fix it wont happen
using strange front struts and stock upper control arms with camber hits.
thanks for the help in advance

Ithink it is fairly common on crx's. Mine was like that with my camber kit so I just hammered that lip out and it never hit again.

Re: control arm hitting on crx
the junk2 upper control arms supposedly doesn't hit.. i haven't had the chance to use it yet.
honestly, i bought the Rhino upper control arms on my old street car. no issues with hitting or clearance. however the ball joint boots did tear with little miles on em.
good luck and let us know how it goes..
running same front struts. i wont be using those camber kits. they are VERY poorly made and ive seen them fail too many times to put on my race car.

As stated before... just "clearance" the contact point and you should be good. I had to do that to my CRX as the that type of camber kit moves the control arm outward.

U have the ingalls style camber kit and they push the contol arm out too much... Either notch the pinch weld or put skunk 2 control arms on it

My cheap but trusty rhino adjustable uca's required notching that part not a big deal, get a die grinder and make some clearance
or
SKUNK2
or
SKUNK2

I wouldn't cut that out.. just bend that lip over with a clearance tool..aka hammer..lol. I don't like to cut metal away from places like that..

Re: control arm hitting on crx
I've just hammered it flat in all of my cars using a small sledge. The control arm doesn't hit on my DA but the tires do and it leaves a nasty gouge in the top of the slick if you don't hammer it flat.
