I've been thinking about running the 10.0 index during the week at my
local track. It would give me alot of pass's to setup the cars short times,
just turn down the boost after the 1/8th mile..

same here steve...but I was planning on running in the 8.0 index

what good are rules if you can't follow it, i say make the rules and we will build it, but please don't change the rules on the day of the race just so that one person could race just cause they did not prepair their car for the race.

i dont think the rules are going to change a whole lot as far as safety wise its going to have to do with regulating how much weight each application the cars are going to have to carry which shouldn't be too difficult to change.. I would also like to see a belly pan rule like NHRA for a decrease in oil downs...

I'm sure Frank is making sure everything is in order. He's done a great job for all these years, and my guess is that he's going to continue doing a great job. No big surprises, just more of what he's brought since the beginning.

Frank!

frank is finishing up the rules as we speak. all i can say at this time is that there wont be to much different from the current setup he has. with the exception of some minor changes for safety purposes.

remember, safety first~ !

this towards the sportsman classes

At times I wonder when this going to be taken seriously.

Any other racing series has its rules made just after the first of the year and sometimes before Christmas.

This is what is wrong with Compact drag racing for many including the series organizers; this is not their full time job.

NHRA would have had the rules out already, because that is a professionally run series and its employees are being paid enough not to work "side jobs"

The frame work of any rules package was ALREADY in place! How come its taking so long???

Just keep what you have been doing already, its not like your going to all of sudden draw in new people into the sport, because if you go too far Honda owners will claim "Unfair".

Any series is going to dominated by Honda no matter what you do.

The rules are almost identical to NHRA last year, just a few changes. Just spoke with Frank tonight.
