Battery Switch Help
If you wire the switch this way the car will continue to run with the switch turned off...You need to run the alt wire direct to the battery. Do a quick search theres a few threads on this already.

That will depend on the circuits of the car - but I will typically recommend a 150A circuit breaker for the battery.
The starter motor can draw 125A+ with enough compression, the starter solenoid generally draws 10-15A. Depending on the type of cable used, 4AWG is normally just fine for the BAT +, BAT -, and starter motor. If the car is still on an alternator and has say (2) fuel pumps, water pump, larger fan, etc - 8AWG may be used.

Starter to other side of cutoff
Fuse/switchpanel to same side as starter on cutoff
