Default Is my battery kill switch wired right?

My main question is with the alternator ran to the battery, will this cause the battery to drain, or will i need to wire it differently?

This is how i just rewired it using a Ford Starter Soleniod. It works as of now wired like this,

Will I have to worry about the soleniod getting to hot from continues use while the car is on?
