Re: 7.5/23.0-15 M & H slicks with 450-500whp (T4eg)
It all depends man. Are you running a decent axle set up? Taller rim sizes tend to mean less sidewall, which means less flexing. Remember something has to give alittle, so if the tires aren't gonna give, then something else has to, ie tranny, axles, clutch. You'd be better off looking into running a 13" wheel.
As for slick size, it depends. I know a guy that went 10.2 on 22" slicks, others have gone slower on 24.5". It all depends on you setup. Your gear ratios make a difference, and so will your HP numbers.
What are you running as far as your trans? LS/GSR/B16? Give us a few more details and I'm sure someone can steer you in the right direction. Maybe John will chime in.

24.5's would definitly be more optimal. I would also go with a wider slick. I love my MT 24.5x9-13's. I have never ever cut anything except 1.6's with them on a stock axle open diff car.

Hi tyrone27: You will blow the M&H 7.5/23-15 off for sure, unless you just want to run slicks for fitting purposes. The HP you have you can go with the M&H 8.5/24.5-15, 8.5/24.5-13 or the 8.7/25-13 Good Luck and Happy Holidays.
