I cannot seem to get the crank pulley bolt to budge...is this a counter-thread bolt?
Also is it standard to have the engine mount run through the timing belt cover? Seems like a bad design and was wondering if I had some weird one-off idea.

Its right hand thread and they are terrible to get off because the motor rotates counterclockwise so you cant wedge a ratchet and bump the motor and there is nothing to stop the motor from turning. Maybe an impact, little heat, and couple taps may help. FYI if you get if off the torque is 80ft lbs when going back on.

Good penetrating oil (not WD-40), 6ft breaker bar, and A LOT of grunting and straining. Or a 1" impact with an extension big enough to go outside the fender (you're never gonna get a 1" impact inside the fender).
