Default Would this sub be good for this amp

Would one of these subs http://www.crutchfield.com/App...specs be good for a 250 max amp? I will get a bigger amp later next month just in the mean time. I have a friend that says he used to use one of these with a 250 amp and it pounds. Will it be better than using this sub http://www.audiodiscounters.co...W300R

The alpine is better, but the amp will be under powering the sub by probably half. You can use it just don't use it at max volume.

in that case..i would take the alpine, but you wont be able to feed the need of your sub, with that amp, but it would be something tho.
