Default Good Amp????

I have a 15inch Kicker L7(4 ohms), Can someone help me decide on a good amp for this Sub???
And will a Hifonics Brutus 1200 Watt Amp work???

HELP APPRECIATED!!!!

You have a 1000W continuous, [RMS] sub, [Kicker S15L7], the Hifonics amp makes 1200W into 1 ohm, wired in parallel your sub will be 2 ohms, the amp makes 900W into 2 ohms a little under-powered for the power hungry Kicker L7 sub.

You really need an amp that makes at least 1000W RMS into a 2 ohm load, Kicker has a few, the one I would recommend is the JL Audio 1000/1 or 1000/1v2... http://mobile.jlaudio.com/prod...d=440 there are a few other brands that have models that would do the job, depending on your budget. 94

Get a Hifonics, Precision Power PPI Amp, JL Audio 1000/1 or 1000/1v2.
