way to make a sound if i left my lights on...?
anyone know if i can wire up my car so that if i leave my lights on.... somehting will beep? cause my 93 cx doenst do that.....

when i installed my head unit i hooked it up so that when the lights were on my stereo also stayed on. so if my music was going then i knew my lights were on. i also only need to turn on the corner lights to play music whiile parked i dont have to start my car or turn to the key to the ACC position

radio shack,you need a 5 pin relay and a piezo speaker.get those things and ill tell you how to wire it up.

when i instelled my head unit i hooked the. Yellow wire with a red stripe up to the acc along with the red wire with a black stripe.
EDIT:
I think the red with black wire is the wire that turns on the cigarette lighter when u turn on your lights. So the red with black wire is the one that accuraly does it i think. the yellow with red stripe was just the acc wire.

should be pretty cheap,i little pizzo siren is only about $3-$4 and a relay should be no more than $5,you can get them from circuit city also,or any one that does 12 volt electronics.,its really easy to wire up.

i believe wal-mart has the kit that beeps if you have your lights on. it connects to your headlight fuse in the fuse panel underneath the steering wheel

I made you a diagram.you need:
(1) relay
(3) foot wire 16-20 gauge
(1) piezzo siren
various connectors
zip ties
for a 93 cx:
run the 2 grounds to the chassis,make sure it is a good solid ground with no paint.
parking light wire is red w/ black stripe in green connector underdash near back off fuse box in driverside.
key power is black w/ yellow stripe at key cylinder harness.

uggghhhh dope dope thanks guys i got my **** workin haha I told all my freinds that dont have the buzzer noise. and told them to do it... simple as **** thanks

there is a easier way to do it. buy a piezo from shackcessories and on the fuse box there is a plug for a buzzer, try to do a search on it, sorry I would post a picture but I do not have a digital camera...
