Turn on wire/ remote?
Ok.
Is this the wire that when you turn on the radio the amp goes on?
From what I understand this is 16 gauge wire, but where in the back of the HU do you install this?
I have checked my owners manual and do not see a place to put this wire. I can only see are RCA's for the Sub, Front output and Amp.
Do I have to splice one of the wire that connects the radio to the car?

yep, your correct when the deck turns on the amp does, and when it turns off amp turns off.
its on your decks wire harrnes, normally blue with white stripe. just connect one end of the 16 to that lead and then run it to your amps remote spot.
you are using aftermarket deck right?

Yes. I figured I have to do the splicing.
In this case my power antenna. The antenna goes up when the radio goes on.
Will that be ok? sharing the wire with the remote wire.

Usually you use a blue wire with a white stripe on aftermarket. Not sure if yours is stock.
Are you trying to wire this to an amp or using it for your antenna? You shouldn't have to splice to put an amp in since radios have a wire designated for it, especially if you already have RCA's

your radios remote wire sends power when the radio receives power.
if you want your amp and power antenna to have power when your radio is given power then connect the remote/blue/power antenna wires together

if you connect both your amp and power antenna to the antenna remote wire, then your amp will ONLY come on when the radio is on and when a cd/aux is being used, your amp will not work, most of the time you have 2 blue wires, one is solid blue, one is blue with a white stripe, usually there is a diagram on the top side or bottom of the head unit that tells you which is which. go by that diagram. If it simply comes to it and for some stupid reason your head unit only has an antenna remote lead, then you can use a scotch lock connector and piggy back the red, 12v wire behind the head unit.

both what?
you never answerd the question after market or oem deck?
dont use the antenna because it will shut the amps off when you play a cd or something.
i know decks have constant power wires and another wire the only turns on when the car is on, that should work to power the amps.

And I have an Aftermarket HU.
My antenna goes up when you turn on the radio, play cd, play the AUX (ipod).
if you have an after market deck, as i said above there is a wire that is blue with a white stripe and that is the remote line for the amp, strip both ends and use a butt connecter crimp and run it to your amp.
well before you just splice into the blue with white stripe, don't assume that is the remote for the amp. that COULD be the power antenna, some manufacturers use blue for remote and blue w/stripe for antenna, but i have seen vice versa, as i stated above, check the chart on the head unit, that's the only proper way to know for sure, unless you wanna give us a model number.
Did you mean DEH-P770MP...

If so, there is only one control lead, [blue/white] it is used for ant. control and amp control, both the power ant. control and amp control leads are connected to it. 94
