Subs cutting out...
when i crank up the volume, above a high listening level, my bass just cuts out, then when i turn it back down, it will come back in...does this mean i need a capacitor? someone please help...thanks!
No it means your amp cut the output to protect your subs.
A capacitor won't do jack in this situation.
Your amp just can't supply enough clean power for the volume you want. You can play with the gain settings so the amp won't do that but you'll give up some bass over the range.

The voltgae supplied to the amps is causing the protection circuit to shut down your amps. A stiffening cap will help but I would go for a higher wattage amp. You could also upgrade your alternator for more juice...
okay, i found the problem, my amp was going into thermal, and shutting down cause it was overheating...the ohm level wasnt correct and it was working to hard...or sumthin like that...well, i put a fan next to the amp, and everyhting works just fine now...
