As how "hard" a sub will hit has more to do with the box then any real diff. with the subs you have linked to, both would probably do the job for you, I would pick the Pioneer, less "bling" 94

I would look into JL Audio,
I have a 13" W1 Only running off 150W and it hits incredibly hard.

I went to the single sub after having 2 10" W0 and they hit a 131.9db. The new sub is alot louder than that so I am going to guess about 135db. (on the same power too)

Just do lots of research before you decide to buy, but IMO JL is the way to go

Look in to diamond audio's D3 line.

Oh and go listen to stuff in a local car stereo shop - find out what sounds good to you.

Personally just given those choices, I'd just go with the kicker. I've only heard one pioneer woofer I like and that one is a little bit more than you're looking at ($200 a woofer retail) and it's tssw124 or something like that (it's my day off, model numbers escape me ). Oh, forget to mention, it's their shallow mount wooder, which means it only needs about 3 3/4 inches mounting depth - can you say "stealth"?

kicker... honestly theres some much better brands out there such as RE and SS (if you want loud) for the money anyway. if a warantee is important to you make sure you find an authorized dealer

Also if you would consider Memphis audio, ive got a brand new (still in its bag with the cover over the cone) PR124-d i won yesterday, the MSRP is 200 but im trying to get rid of it (not much i can do with it) so i'd sell it for about 60
