Ohms
Question about ohms. If I have 2 subs that have 4 ohms and i wire them parallel, i now have 8 ohms but if i wire them serial i still have 4, is that correct? Also, should the ohms on the amp match that of the combined subs?
the amp adjust to what ohm ur subs are...isnt it if u run 2 4ohms parallel u get 2 ohms??? and if u run them in series is when u get 8 wheres fcm hes slacking today...
It's nothing to do with the amp. It's all to do with the wiring. I can't seem to find the website with the ohm calculator though.
Are your subs dvc?
Ideally you want to get your amp down to 1ohm (if it is 1ohm stable
)
