Default Sub set-up

One Rockford Fosgate 12'' T1 with a 1000 watt amp or a Kicker L7 with a 750 watt amp both with pre fabricated box and same brand amp as sub. Which set-up will pound harder and sound better. I'm putting it in an s2000 so thats why im only going with one sub.

what kind o l7? Both are good speakers. It also depends on box. If the prefab box is closer to specs for which you are you are using. That one is going to hit harder, and better.

Its the square sub-sonic L7. Both boxes are factory made to the specs of the sub.

1. The L7 will Pound harder
2. The T1 will sound better
3. I assume you are talking about a rockford t10001bd amp to run the T1, that is too much power for it. They want 600w rms
4. ur not fitting a prefab L7 enclosure in an S2k. at least not one of the vented ones.
5. If you want to do a sub in ur car do what we do at my work put it in the spare tire well and build a false floor. It works great.
6. to the guy that said solo X, the entire trunk space of the S2k is probably barely enough room to fit a solo X 12, without the issue of the convertible top. Also they sound poor, they are just SPL subs, they arent meant for everyday listening.

I would say 10" L7 off of the zx750.1 would rock.
My friend has 2-550.3's in his s2k. with the sub channels going to an L7 and the other 4 channels bi-amping his MB quarts in his doors.
