Default Sub selection questions

well i wanna put a sub in my crx and i have a couple of question

(i listen to rap and mostly trance and i want a sub that nice clean with a bit of punch, not sloppy bass, also im sinking the sub flush in the trunk so i would like to find a sub that takes up less cubic footage)

should i use a 10 or a 12, what brand or models do you guys recomend (im not into spending insane amounts of cash but i do have $$, also what amp would u use, im kinda partial to alpine i have there deck and speaker and are pretty happy,

ps. i can get a rockford 360 amp for 150 used two years old , good deal?

thanks

Check out the ARC subs. I built a .9 cube sealed enclosure for ATF Kuk's brother. I did not get to hear the sub in the box, but ATF Kuk liked it alot. Send ATF a pm. He should be able to get you a good price if you are interested.

In spare tire well enclosures, depth is generally more of an issue then volume.

If you are on a budget, I recommend taking a look at the IDv3's from Image Dynamics. Very sweet subs.
