Default Relay required for a fuel pump kill switch?

Wondering if a heavy duty switch will suffice instead of having to wire in a relay? Recommended amperage?

Default Re: Relay required for a fuel pump kill switch? (VTECorona)

You need to know how much current the fuel pump draws. Depending on that, you choose the switch rating and go over by a 20% safety margin. Although, it is a better idea to run a relay and requiring a smaller switch.
