not pointless if you have a cage, and cant use the rear speakers.


every time i get back into my rex, i wish i was rollin' in the ridgeline with the 7 speaker setup.

i'm actually yanking them all out in exchange for aftermarket sounds.
instead of one subwoofer, i'm adding two tens below the rear seat.

i guess i can listen to the engine sing in my crx. two door speakers work fine. haha

Lol, I got ghetto speaker boxes in my garage. With quick release wires so they plug in and plug right back out...

i have full interior w/ a cage, and would rather not have something 'rigged' if i can help it.

whats pointless about it? Its a focal 3 way design speaker component system. It has crossovers set at specific locations and drivers designed for those frequencies. That guy didnt just DECIDE to stuff 2 midrange speakers in his door for the hell of it. It is a 7" Driver, a 4" driver and a 1" tweeter.


As far as the OP's original question... any custom car audio shop worth anything can do that no problem.
