im thinking of buying some 12 foot rca's and coating them with silicone, let them dry and then put them in....
i have the time and patience and i like silicone, i yse it for everything, just installed some side skirts with some and i always take a few tastes, it tastes great and i love to eat it, in fact the taste is still in my mouth right noe *cough cough*
ok, trying to look straight here....
will it benefit me in any way?
i cant afford the expensive rca's so i figured i might as well do this...
it would aldo protect the wire frow rain and lightning, as well as condensation deseases....

LoL, I'm at a loss for words...
Cheap RCAs should be fine. I haven't had a problem with mine yet. Just make sure that they are run om the opposite side of the car from all the power wires.

i was thinking of changing the cheap ones like ince a month, everytime i make a change, whether change the amp or h/u or sum'n, i buy and install then sell for more money then buy sum'n better install and sell
the word stolen hasn't come along yet though
anyway, as long as i run it opposite to the power wire i should be alright so....
thanks

Sure I use cheap RCAs. Right now, I'm using some no-name brand. No pretty colors, fancy names, nothing (Look just like the set that came with my cable box). I haven't had a problem yet. I have tried more expensive brands, but I can't hear an audible difference.
