Default Ruining Amps with Pulleys

Anyone had problems ruining their car stereo amps, by having AEM Pulleys or something. Becaue it drops your Voltage to 12 Volt, and it isn't enough for most high power amps. I know i blew 2 of my amps up. Anyone else had this problem, and is it really worth it, to leave the alternator pulley on?Windows go up slower and everything, lights are dimmer.etc.

it shouldnt drop your voltage....it drops the amount of amps your alternator puts out at a specific rpm...but your voltage shouldnt drop

having a lack of power should also not "burn" up your amps anyways

now an excessive power surge (or whatnot) could cause damage, but a lack of power will just not provide optimal output.
