Default Putting Neons under the dask...

I'm attempting to put blue 9 inch neons under my dash on both drive and passenger side. My one problem might be finding an easy way from the battery to under the dash. If anyone has any idea where the easiest place to get a wire into my cab is, please let me know.

thanks

Why would you want to do such a horrible thing to bastardize such a nice car?

its a good thing you guys didnt pay for the car, to each their own! I suggest the same as above, the accessory fuse is your best bet, but i have also heard of people splicing the power wires for another accessory in the car then increasing the fuse to counter the increased load from that accessory. I personally think any splicing is stupid, and the fuse box idea isnt too amazing either, but thats probably the best 2 options...or you could punch a hole in the firewall...?

A lot of these companies that sell items for competition car stereo systems have this piece, which is connected to the terminal on your battery, and on the other end has 5 mini terminals where you can connect things to, not only does it look excellent (having used the right guage or consistent guage for each item) but it also probably allows you to keep your engine compartment looking nice and clean, i have these in both of my accords and let me tell you, the addition of it is cool, got my red top optima in there and red wiring, all guages consistent running to this terminal, excellent!

i cant stand people who get on a topic just to nag and complain about the persons topic. how bout you try and only post if your actually trying to HELP. but since we are on the topic how do you route a power wire from your fuse box? do you stick a wire in one of the empty spots or what? i would like to avoid running a wire from the battery but how and were EXACTLY do you connect it in your fuse box?

ps: the only place he spelled DASH incorrectly was on the topic besides that hes ok, YOU NEED LESSONS!

I never liked the fuse box idea, mainly because I don't know what the hell I am doing. I just ran a wire from the battery when I hooked up my Alpine unit. If I were you, I'd do the same thing.

He changed the original post. But anyways, I don't know anything about hooking up Neon lights to my dash so I'll be quiet. good luck in your quest.
