Stereo Install Prices
Hey guys, I want to get a JL 300/4, Alpine MRD301, Infinity front components, Infinity 6x9 installed. For those that have gotten a similar system(two amps, front and rear speakers, and a sub)installed or anyone that knows the price, how much did you pay? Basically about how much should I pay for this kind of install? Oh I forgot to mention that I don't have any wires.
If you can't do the whole install by yourself (or don't want to), at least install the speakers..........those are easy, and should knock at least $50 or $60 off the install price.

CircuitCity here charges the same as the local shops.
You're prob looking about 250 for all that minus wiring, which i recommend be purchased from http://www.knukonceptz.com You're better bet would be find someone around you that would be reputable to do it on the side.

</TD></TR></TABLE>Its hard to say, it depends what the rates are in your area, at our shop we would charge from $150 to $300 depending on how far you wanted to go with the install, $150 would be basic, installed where it all fits the easiest useing the stock speaker wire.
Best thing to do is shop around at your local car audio shops, try and see some of their work, find out what you are paying for, what kind of warranty does the shop give on the install, [ we give a liftime warranty on our installs] what kind of connections will they use, [we use the right term., ring, spade, split spade or flat spade and solder all our connections]
Anybody saying they can do it for less then $150, 1- is giving you a hell of a deal, 2- wants to go out with your sister, 3- is going to punch out the job. And the answer is .... YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR .
The places that have been around a long time are probably the best bet, you don't last long if you get a rep. for crappy work, not standing by your work, or ripping people off.
