Default old amp help

i got a free 12" wolfenhag sub
500 rms

i also got a free Power Acoustik G840-2 Amplifier
2 channel amp but one channel doesn't work.
Dont really matter since i will be only using one sub, but its not goign to be close to the 500 rms the sub needs.

i was thinking about bridging it but if the other channel doesn't work thats not possible right?

ps. where can i get a nice Line out converter LOC

No you can't bridge a 2ch amp with one channel down.

How good a LOC are you looking for, they start at about $10? 94

this will be my first time installing subs and what not but i get the big picture and its not that hard.

here is a diagram i drew of how things have to go and i have some questions following it.

the LOC is a 4 channel so i just use one set of the cables right?

how will i know which one is positive or negative upon installing the LOc?

how will i know what wire to tap for the remote?
what other easy places can i tap in for remote?

Here is a diagram of how i think my sub should be wired for the amp. is it right?
