Default NooB Help

Right now I have a Kenwood Head Unit, 1000 watt Sony Xplod Amp, two 12'' Sony Subs and stock Honda speakers. This was just something to start with. Now that I have a better cash flow I'm looking to upgrade.. I just need help on what I should get. I'm looking for some serious thud .. lol and something stylish. I know I could prolly go into my local audio store but I was wondering what I could find online first. I'm looking for maybe some subs in a box plus speakers that are custom mounted where the spare goes. I was wondering if there was a link online or something or someone that could do these things. Thanks...

Replace your stock Honda speakers next, and consider it done. You already got 1000w on two 12s. That's enough bass.

Lol oh...I wanted to go louder with bass and upgrade the midrange. Anything in perticular that sounds nice? I've read alot of posts on here discussing Focals and Infinities.

I got some Sony Xplod 6X9 3-way in the rear feed by the amp. I think they are real nice for the $$$. I also got some 5.5 3-way up front. I'm beginning to be a bit disappointed now as I hear a rattle. I'll have to check to see if it's the installation or the speaker.

Why not just go Xplod all the way....

I do want to go all Xplod but with the 1000 watt amp, it doesn't appeal to me to have a clearer thud than some lower wattage amps I've been hearing in other people's cars. Lol..I know I sound stupid but around here in the VA/DC/MD area..majority of the time a good sounding thud is important. ( Sadly ore important than even how a car looks. )
