I had an alarm placed in my car over a year ago and never had the alarm hooked up to the power locks. Long story short the installer said my car was too difficult to work on and he just tucked back the wires to hook the unlock feature up. My question is what wires do I tap into for the lock and unlock hookup? A picture would be very helpful, and yes I did search for this and couldn't find what I was looking for.

I have a 95 Del Sol Vtec.

 

Get a haynes repair manual. Or DL an electronic manual. They should have wiring diagrams. I dont own a del sol so i dunno.

The installer was a dumb-***, Honda/Acura have to be the easiest cars in the world to do key-less entry on, they use a type B system, [low current neg.(-) pulse], it is as simple as connecting the neg.(-) door lock/unlock outputs of the alarm, [probably a green and blue lead to the cars lock and unlock leads, [green/white and green/red in your case]. 94

 

I believe I know what wires to connect but I just want to make sure before I splice into it. I think I’m connecting to wires from the plug behind the cruise control box, the silver box blocking a white/gray plug. Is this correct?
