need sub amp recommendations

You have to be really careful that there is enough room above the amp, especially considering the bottom of the seat comes down with someone sitting in it. I've seen installs where the person was basically "sitting" on the amp.....not good. Even worse when they try to move the seat, can scratch the hell outta the amp. You need at least an inch . </TD></TR></TABLE>
my take on things is if you're amp is shutting down something is wrong. i guess my logic comes from server rooms....anyone constructing a server room from scratch would be insane to not install AC and depending on how much load each server 'sees' you'll have false-floors w/ AC vents cooling from ground up + top down.
wrong or right i use the same principle when it comes to my amps....the minute one of them shuts down i think to myself i'm not treating my amps as I should. the fans next to my amps are doing nothing more than blowing around a bunch of hot air. In the winter though they never go into protection mode.
one of these days I'll get off my lazy azz and start competing but one thing I've never seen is a competitor who has come up with a clever way of cooling amps. will it change SQ? maybe/maybe not. but at least it'd be it's original....
but also keep in mind this is coming from someone who doesn't belive in EQ and decided the best place for a 1/3 octave Arc EQ is my closet after playing around for the better part of a day with it in and out and in and out listening to all kinds of music.
