That doesn't really mean too much, since every honda radio takes the same harness, up til '98 when they changed it.

OK, B18C_EJ8, are you being sarcastic, [hard to tell when in print] but that looks a lot like a cass. deck to me, and correct me if I'm wrong, but is it mounted with an aftermarket HU mounting sleeve?
I do agree about a CD in a CRX though, I have never seen one, [that was stock].

The dash is the same on both pictures, so im sure they are both crx's. Howver, as was previously stated the harness is the same on most hondas so that cd player though is mounted in a crx in the picture on top may not have acctually come from a crx. It was probably put in after the fact.

it's a honda cd player. it's not a sticker or anything it's a print on the cd player itself. also the stock wiring harness connected to the plugs in the back of the cd player.

Is there any reason this is important? I mean where did you get it from? If it works why do you really care what car it came out of? Not trying to be a dick im just wondering if theres is any significance to the question?

i got it out of a junkyard for free because the guy didn't think it worked. the radio works but not the actual cd player. i've called honda and have given them the serial number but they can't tell me what car it came from. i like the way it looks in my car and would like to buy another one from Honda but need to know what car to order it from.

IIRC, that is a canadian deck. i dont know/remember what the model of the vehicle was, but i worked on one and i believe that was the same radio you have or very similiar. i remember thinking WTF is this.
from time to time i see a few of those cars driving around my area.
hope that helps.

i think it would have to be a canadian or some other market's radio. I looked on Hondaautomotiveparts.com under each model for a couple various years in each model, and none had a radio listed that looked quite like that. Yes... I was bored
