okai heres the problem....my Honda Crv (2002)...has an okai system..but i need some bass...well..i dunt want an high performace sound system...just a nice one....and the thing is i love my factory deck....its 6 disc changer....i no i have to use a hi/low lineout rca adapter..but can some1 plez tell me how im suppose to hook up the whole system....i can get the parts and supplies....and another problem is that....for an amp i need an 12v ignition switch...how am i suppose to find that...THIS WOULD BE SOO MUCH HELP!!!

 

real easy. you can run a switch and put it any were you want. Or you can tag it of the acc wire to the radio. The only problem with this is that sometimes if you turn of the radio the subs might make a pop noices or amp the last sound that they here, a long vooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom. I rather put it of a switch that tag into the acc so if you forget to turn it off , it will go off with the key. If you need help there are alot of people that can help you or walk you thru it. There is a lot of good info on http://www.the12volt.com, You may or may not need the "LOC" [low level output converter], the amp you get may have one built in.

As long as you have a good ground and proper power for the amp, you should be able to connect the amps control lead, [trigger, turn on] to the acc. lead in the radio harness, [white W/ yellow or blue tracer] here is the color code for the radio harness http://www.installdr.com/Harnesses/HA-Wiring.pdf I would get the signal from the rear speaker wires. 94
