Honda Factory CD player fitment ???'s
Will a factory CD player from a '00 Civic Si (for example, or any other factory Honda cd player) fit into a crx dash with no mods, just straight drop in? Looking for a player for my nephews '91 Crx Si.

I know for a fact that the 2000 Integra GSR CD player fits in perfectly and the harness even matches without conversion. IT's a perfect plug and play.
The 94-01 integras could all use the same CD player, but I'm not sure.

I can get you a pic of my acura cd player in the car tomorrow if you'd like. It looks completely stock and 100% beautiful. I like the anti theft light/code feature as well.

It will fit in of course, but you will need to get a conversion harness. You should be able to pick it up at any stereo place.
The only reason I know this is I have the 00 Si (SiR in Canada) deck in my 91 Hatch. I don’t know ANYTHING about stereos, and a friend put it in for me. He just picked up the wire harness at a stereo place for 5 bucks or something, no biggie. You can hard wire it if you want to, but that’s a bit of a pain in the ***. Sorry I don’t remember what the harness number or model is, but like I said, any stereo place should have it if you bring in the deck and show them the back.
I like it just because it says Honda on it and is a fairly good deck and keeps the stock look.

Yah i got a civic and an integra. THey will not plug and play. The Integra CD player will fit perfect in the crx and will not need any harness. The civic cd player however, will need a harness that plugs in the car's factory harness and goes to the cd player.

Re: (efracer)
That will fit if you take the bottom tray off and get a conversion harness for the wires.
I will get you pics of my raido tomorrow. I was swamped at work all day long and totally forgot about it. sorry.
