Don't expect it to be high end. I dunno who makes it, it's not total junk though.

Yea rockford fosgate makes lightning audio.
Now wonder they are both carried by Best Buy. A while back they had the new Hifonics and Crunch both made by API in China. Hifonics was US made until after series 8.

Lightning Audio is like the recycling bin for Rockford Fosgate. It's value price and value performance. I used to work at a place that sold LA and NEVER got thier stuff to sound right. Thier amps are underpowered and thier subs are outperformed by 6 inch mid-range speakers that cost the same. If you want to save a few bucks then they are the best way ... just remember ... you get what you pay for.

Well my LA amps pump my Crystal components pretty dang hard...

In fact, my brothers got the exact same component set with an Alpine amp, rated at more power, and I've gotta say...mine hits harder, and has better SQ.

Maybe it's a fluke...I dunno.

But like I said, I'd recommend LA if you're on a budget.

I had a 200 RMS one, definately produces less than that but I had no problems with it and I like the way you can easily add a fan or capacitor.
Good on a budget
