I thought this would fit in one of the off topic sections but I cannot post there yet so here in the security section I thought a key question would fit the best.

Alright, a little background, the company I work for makes OEM and aftermarket keys for many auto manufacturers. We are looking at making new style aftermarket keys. We are going to start with Honda, just because there are so many out there.

So now here comes the question. What would you guys like to see in aftermarket keys? Flip-out, retractable, etc. Logos or other things you would want to see on the head of the key. Your help is greatly appreciated!

i think i would like a flip out key, and thats because I put my keys in my pockets when i go to class and as i shift around trying to find a comfortable way to sit in the chair, my keys stab me and bruise up the side of my leg..

 

maybe colored keys, or like chrome or gold keys...also it would be neat if you pushed a button and the key came out slowly... i mean i would still prefer one that flips out (like the volkswagon key boxes) but if i pushed a button and it came out in a smooth controlled motion...wow.

 

Yeah one of the flipout kind, so the point of the key does not poke a hole in your pocket, also so it doesn't poke you, one of them ultra bright leds would be good also,[flashlight]. 94

 

Yeah, do me one of those keys that have a built-in cell phone, digital camera and 24 hr access to the internet
