i was planning on having 3 rockford hx2 12s and having a rf 400s amp to each. the thing is the hx2s are so much more expensive than the he2. so now im thinking about getting the he2 since the amp is 400wrms at 4ohms. so that matches more w/ the he2. but i know the hx2s are awesome, in my opinion but have never heard the he2. anybody have any experience w/ them?
its hard finding the old jus black ones on ebay, theyre all chrome and ugly now.
so anybody had any experiences w/ the he2?

 

the he2's are pretty decent, why don't you just do 1 amp and buy the subs you want, it's not really NECESSARY to buy 2 amps for 2 subs, but your call man

 

I think purchasing a high power amp is cheaper than purchasing multiple lower ones. Why not get they RF 1500bd or whatever it is called? I think it goes for like 500 or so. And two hx15's

 

well ive already made the box and amp rack sooo... plus i can get the amps i need for 100 a piece off ebay and im keepin the shitty subs and amp and all i have right now till i have everything, 3subs and 3 amps ya know. i know its stupid but o well. ive got my reasons.... but i think ill got w/ the he2's.... and im not goin ported jus sealed...
