Default alpine or JBL?

alright guys, im lookin to power my 10" Alpine DVC type-s sub with either an alpine MRD-M300 mono amp or a JBL BP300.1 mono amp. the JBL will feed the sub with 300 watts at 2 ohms, and the alpine will feed the sub with 200 watts at 2 ohms. the sub is a 600 watt max, 200 RMS power handler. its in a sealed enclosure ( i believe its 1 cubic feet). so what do you think? jbl or alpine?

I'd go with the JBL, you'll really notice the extra 100 RMS and the sub will handle it easily.

I have used both, JBL is less effecient (?) I noticed my lights would dim at low levals with the JBL. Sound is decent. The Jbl doesn't have much for crossovers, Sub-sonic filter, or other options as such the sound quality if found was nearly the same as my alpine.

Alpine, was flexible to adjust. Pretty reliable. effecient and looked good.
The bad part about alpine is they take about 10 seconds to reset if you push it too hard. (ohm wise, or volume wise) And they get hotter.

JBL takes less then a second to reset, has two lights one green and one red so you know exactly if it is the amp that is cutting out. And has never gotten extremely hot.

The JBL is where it's at. My buddy is runnin the BP600 w/ W6 and the amp pushes them easy. I am in the process of buying the JBL myself.
