amp for a kicker solobaric?
I think anywhere from 300-400 watts would do the trick...
There are many amps from PPI, Rockford, Phoenix, or Alpine that can supply that kind of power for your price range easily.

I have a 10" square solobaric and am pushing it with my Kenwood 201T.. it's the exact wattage that the sub is rated at .. so i figure it's a good combination.. and i believe they go for around $300
look at crossfire amp....bmf(series).
also a memphis st-500d would be great and can be had for around 250 on ebay.
also a jbl 600.1

in sound comps because I ran two solobaric 12's with it in a sealed box and blew them both it is rated at 1 x 250 @ 4ohm 1 x 500 @ 2 ohm and can easily do 1 ohm stable and is a monoblock class D amp 90% effecient they are good if you can find em good bang for the buck and when people hear your rating of power they will usually laugh.. I hit 146 at a iasca soundoff in my 96 vw gti and then blew them I washoping to hear this stereo in my acura but it didnt work anyhow solo's are cool depends on what you want though good luck
