Default Help on installation!

I got a Lightning 1.0 farad CAP, I have no idea on how to install it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the diagram, just what i needed. But don't you have to charge it for while or something.

YES YOU HAVE TO CHARGE THE CAP.

That diagram is correct, but before you connect the capacitor to the + battery cable, you must use a small resistor or a test light in between the + battery wire and + connection on the capacitor to "trickle charge" the cap. You need to do this because of the capacitors nature to recharge quickly, without trickle charging the cap, it may damage itself, possibly by explosion.
