GPS, gyroscope problems?
i have an alpine navagation system and whenever i accelerate hard the cursor position jumps off the path slightly. i dont know if its the gyroscope freakin out cause i'm driving like an idiot or if i may have tapped into the wrong vss wire? but this problem only happens when i'm "raggin" on my car, very rare though.
i would probably say its the gyro getting goosed...if the vss was incorrectly hocked up you would "jump" all over the map.

Which system do you have? The N-751 non DVD needs the VSS to be hooked up to work properly, the newer N-851 DVD can get by without it.
On your 4th gen Civic/CRX, the VSS signal should be on the middle plug (Plug B) at pin location B16. Cool, B16......what a coincidence!!
Make sure your GPS antenna is clear of obstructions.
Go to the main Menu, click INFO, then GPS STATUS and see how many satelites you are pulling in. Start driving, and if your VSS was hooked up properly, you should see the signal pulse. This is how it is on my 851 DVD navigation. Not sure about the 751.
Good luck!
