Default Glass Breakage Sensor Setting?

I forget the model of the sensor first off but I've got a glass breakage sensor on my Compustar alarm.

Trying to adjust the sensor just right, right now it's giving me false alarms.
Had it at max, dur, too high.
Had it at half, still too high.
Now it's at maybe a hair more then a 1/4 and I'm still getting false alarms.

Seems whenever a truck or something with a big ol diesel drives by my alarm goes off, I guess the truck engine/exhaust noise is making the window vibrate.

Any help?

Are you sure it's not your shock sensor that's too sensitive?

Glass breakage sensors don't respond to window vibrations. They activate when they "hear" the specific frequency generated by breaking glass...

+1 on the shock sensor check.
To test the glass sensor you take a penny and tap on the glass. It is common that the squeeling brakes of semi's can set it off which is where setting the sensitivity down would help..

You guys are right.
I turned the shock sensor down to 4 (from 6, adjustable 1-10) still getting some false alarms.
