Default Does anyone install Pioneer AVIC-F90BT?

Guys,

Has any of you installed Pioneer AVIC-F90BT, AVIC-F900BT or AVIC-F700BT in-dash all in one navigation system? If yes, please respond, I have couple of small questions.

Thanks in advance,
Ruben.

How did you connect your nav to the speed sensor? Did you hook it up to the ECU? Which wire is that?

I just tap into the wire using a t-tap. It all depends on the vehicle, where i hook it up at. I work at a car audio shop so thats why i say that. if you tell me year, make and model i can tell you were its at.

My car is Honda Accord 98 Coupe V6. Is it possible to tap reverse and hand break wires to ECU either?

Thanks, I appreciate your help!

Speed sensor wire is blue/white and is located at the first plug on the ECM, it is a 32 pin gray plug. The ECM plugs can be accessed by pulling up the carpet on the passenger side of the center console. There are 4 plugs total. The reverse wire is a green/black wire that can be found at the driver side of the fuse box or the harness that run's down the drivers side of the car. I wouldnt hook the radio to the e-brake, beacause it wont play a movie and the nav functions wont play while driving down the road. If you look up the brake by-pass for the radio on the internet it will tell you what to do. If you cant find it let me know and i will email it to.

You can't, I put my backpack there when I get out of the car, lol. I should have just bought one of those portable navis. The unit is slow to boot but having usb and sd inputs is kind of nice.

I have already ordered one, but I'm afraid that it would be stolen
What can you suggest to minimize the risk?
