Default Proximity Sensor Help

Ok I've been searching for awhile now but can't seem to get it working. The alarm model is a g5 750 with the added proximity sensor. I have it mounted in the center console. And as i was hooking it up to my brain i noticed my omnisensor was only held on by 1 screw. So i moved it to the firewall and used all 4 screws. Now the problem starts with the sensor, i believe its called the warn away it will make the buzzing noise and instantly fully trigger the alarm. I've tried and tried adjusting but im stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That is the sensor I had with my concept 600 and according to that it's the G5 sensor as well. I could have sworn my omni sensor on my 600 needed to be mounted with the top up? Did you just add 3 screws to the sensor or did you move it to another location. You are saying to buzzing is coming from the sensor?

The omnisensor had an "up" arrow on it.
"installing the omnisensor
The omnisensor can be located in either the passenger or engine compartment. It must be firmly mounted with the indicator arrow pointing UP to a vertical metal surface. For best results it must be secured sheet metal screws using ALL FOUR mounting points."

H9Omega Do you not also have an audio sensor, [DEI 506T] and where and how is the prox sensor connected to the alarm?

Its the clifford Dual Zone proximity sensor. I also have the audio sensor and it works fine also. The omnisensor was held on by one screw and it was in my driver compartment. So i moved it to the passenger and secured it with 4 screws. Yes the arrow is pointed up. The proximity sensor buzzes when you walk near it but instantly blasts the full siren, instead of just the warning. Thanks for the feedback guys.

It sounds like the outside zone, [warn a way] and the inside zone, [full alarming] are adjusted too close together.
The other possibility is the way it is connected to the alarm, where and how is it connected? 94

Thanks for all the info guys, well the problem was fixed. It was the mux sensor (506t) that would trigger the alarm, i turned it down a tad and everything is working fine.
