Dynamat question...
Can't hurt, although I don't know how effective it will be, you would be better off using all the Dynamat on the door itself, replace the plastic vapor barrier with a Dynamat one, sealing up all the openings will do more for you then Dynamating the panels,

I never even knew dynamat made a plastic barrier.
My problem is that my plastic door panels rattle when the bass hits... even on stock speakers. It's a new car and I'm willing to try anything.
edit: I just went to the dynamat site and didn't see any plastic barrier for the door. lil help? lol

On the Fit, the arm rest is attached to the door panel with clips and screws. For some reason, my passenger armrest rattles like crazy. I'm trying to figure something out but I've got nothing. I've tightened the screws and still nothing. The only way I can get it to stop is when I push on it. That's obviously not a solution.
If I put dynamat on the holes like you said, would that make removing the door panel next time, impossible?

No. What I was saying is that if you slit the dynamat, it'll sortof hold that clip in place better than if you were to open up the dynamat the same size as the clip's hole.
The dynamat will also take up the slack between the panel & the door sheetmetal and will probably eliminate your rattle. You could even double up the dynamat (two layers) in the area where the door handle is, in case one layer isn't thick enough.

replace the plastic vapor barrier with a Dynamat one meaning replace the stock plastic vapor barrier with one made out of Dynamat.
Remove the stock plastic vapor barrier and anything else that can be removed, clean the door skin, apply a single sheet of Dynamat to the door, with slots for linkage and any wiring, start at top of door and work down making sure there are no bubbles and that you make good contact with the door skins surface.

Thats what my DA looks like too.
When I bought the car, the guy that owned it before me had a pretty nice system that he ended up taking out. So when I finally started modding it (its my first car) I couldnt understand why ANYONE would want to add that much weight to their car.
Now i've become really focused on the interior, and im happy hes got that stuff everywhere. No rattles

Haha, nope I still have road noise, Nothing crazy though.
I have dynamat EVERYWHERE. Behind my cluster, covering my door panels, covering my trunk compartment, all behind my dash. I mean its rediculous. I'm so happy the last owner of my car put it there though, I have literally no rattle right now with high bass and ****.
Finally got my sub today too, 12" Alpine Type R

I am running mine active as well. I have them on an Alpine PDX 4.150. They sound awesome. I was going to go with the Diamond D9's, but they are just too big so they are in my Liberty
I've hit my door cards with DMX, and it has helped reduce the door lock rattle. I've already done the inner and outer skins. I'll need to find something to fill the hollow door lock rod ends to kill the last of the rattle.
But yeah, heaps of hit you in the chest midbass
