Can anyone provide a link explaining what the "big three" talks about? I recently read a thread about dimming lights and tried to search big three, but came up empty handed. Thanks.

Basically it simply means to upgrade all of your factory battery cables (Alternator to battery, engine to ground and battery to ground) to that of equal or greater diameter (gauge) than the power wire you are using in your system.
