Door triger help
Im installing my alarm and im kinda stuck on the door triger part. The alarm has a door triger + and a door triger -. Now i know the civics are kinda weird but i have located the green and red door triger - over by the fuse box...how do i wire them together?
Have you tried reading any of my faq's or websites?
You don't use the + door trigger input. You never use BOTH door trigger inputs. Hondas are negative trigger. Connect your alarm to the light green/red wire (passenger side door pin).
Civics are not kinda weird. Doing an alarm on a Civic is the most basic alarm install there is and is similar to 90% of alarm installs.

I have looked around but i need to get it done kinda soon and ive tried everything...no luck. Whats throwing me off is the person who did the previous install...they have wires everywhere. So all i do is connect the - trigger to the gree/red wire and it should work?
Thats kinda how i figued but when its wired like that nothing happens. If you arm the car then manually open the door nothing happens.....so i dont really get it. One thing it does do though, the little open door simple flashes if you try to lock the car with the door open, but i dont think it really know that the door is open because it still locks, which i dont think its suppose to do.

do you even have a meter and testing for the wires that you need? Are you sure that you are even tagging the right wire. There are multi colors of that same wire.
Yeah i tested em, basically i trusted the original wires which was a bad idea. I bought the car used and the pervious owner did a **** wire job so once i took out all of their wires and hooked it up directly
. Good good, so now everything working except the remote start. After i put it in reservation mode when i hit the start button it turns on the ignition but dosnt engage the starter, even when im in the car just pushing down the clutch....and ideas?

Yeah another case of switched wires, i had it powering the key side and not the starter side :-(. So now i got it to start, haha but it wont turn off!
