Default Choosing an Amp

I can't stand not having enough power anymore for my speakers. I need to get an amp to help boost my music. Here's what I have;

Sony CDX-M630 head unit (has pre-amp and hi-pass filter, using aux for my sirius)
52 W x 4

JBL GTO606C 6" 2-way components in the front
90dB sensitivity
4 ohms
70 Watts RMS/210 Watts Peak Power

JBL GTO926 6"x9" 2-ways in the rear
91dB sensitivity
4 ohms
100 Watts RMS/300 Watts Peak Power

This is all in my '98 civic hatchback.

I don't intend on putting a subwoofer in so I just need to drive the speakers that I have right now. I like crisp sound, but I can tell (as in many reviews I have read about my speakers) I am missing the power to kick out the bass. Also if you guys have any suggestions for wiring let me know because I am using the original wires right now and want to rewire my car if it will help sound quality.

Put them under your seats or if you dont got a spare tire. Put them in that well.
Oh, Put both the amps in the cart with a amp kit and then what you have to do is call them and they change the wires from a single to mult. amp kit!!

If you just have deck power I would definitely get an amplifier. I would just purchase a 4 channel for front and rear. Don't expect a lot of bass when finished.

One thing you might do with your current system is make sure you have the phase correct on all the speakers. If they are out of phase you will lose bass.

I'd recommend the Alpine MRV-F545. Very clean and controlled muscial notes. They use a triple darlington circuitry instead of the standard push/pull type. It controls roll off frequencies almost like higher end home audio amplifiers.

It's rated at 125w x 4ch RMS @ 4ohms 14.4V. Should be plenty of power for your speakers.
