Best CD deck?
Whats the best cd deck receiver out there? I had a sony explode on my previous car. It wasn't that bad but I definitely want an upgrade. As you know the stero setup in my car is quit big.

I been thinking on a Kenwood DDX6019. I don't want a small cd deck on the car. It doesnt look right to me. I rather the big screen deck as it would fit in well with the overall look of it. Any ideas on good economical touch screen decks I can use?

I like the Premier line from Pioneer, just installed my DEH-P980BT and its sweet. I wish I could afford the DEX-P9 and DEQ-P9 combo, but this would require going 3-way active up front, and the HU/DSP are just under $2000 for the set. Three 2-ch amps would cost about $1000 (JL makes a 6ch amp that 'could' suffice, about $400), and then figure another $1000 (at least for good SQ 3-ways) for the front components etc etc etc....car audio or just audio in general is like a drug to me.

P9 combos go for around $750 used. You think $2k is expensive... you obviously have not seen the ODR combo or the F#1 combo. Older F#1 was $7000 retail, latest ODR is around $5000 and the new F#1 is $5500

my boss has a full ODR setup in his car. $30k not the loudest stereo Ive heard by any means but it sounds amazing
I have a deh-p980BT in my car,I love the bluetooth, but its all subjective, and it depends what features you want. start by figuring out what features you want then narrow it down from there. ppl on here will usually tell u pioneer premier or alpine.
edit: just saw u said double din. personally I think kenwood is where its at this year, but look at the 7019 not the 60. the 60 was a carryover from last yr and I-pod integration sux on it. Cool things about kenwood double dins:
1. nav is only $400 to add
2. 15 degree reverse screen tilt for anti glare (kenwood exclusive)
3. Video ipod full touch screen interface (kenwood exclusive) $40
4. giga mp3, you can burn a DVD-r full of Mp3s about 50 albums worth (kenwood and JVC exclusive)
